Buzhi Bixia Shi Nvlang

Crimson Gauze and Thin Silk Envelop Her Gleaming Skin

Adorned with Plum Blossoms, They Are Drunk in Luoyang for Now

Loath to Return to the Jade Towers of the Imperial Palace

I Watched Her Tower Crumble and Fall

I Watched Her Feast Her Honored Guests

I Watched Her Raise Her Vermilion Tower

Worldly Affairs Flow on Like Running Water

Our Love Lasts Unless Green Mountains Rot Away

They Made a Thousand Vows Before the Pillow

Who Says That Tableaus of Grief May Not Be Painted?

The Unloved Can’t Comprehend the Trouble of Those in Love

Now, Tonight, Sorrow Is What I Feel

A Riot of Spring Color Overwhelms the Garden

An Overflow of Emotions with Only a Spring Courtyard’s Moon to Witness

Only Their Two Hearts Know

A Turning Glance or a Movement, All Is Understood

Concealing Themselves, the Spring Mountains Are Coyly Silent

Mutual Love Leaves Both Speechless in Its Wake

This Feeling Clings and I Lack the Methods to Extinguish It

Looking at the Sky at Dawn and the Clouds at Dusk

All Gaze at the Moon’s Brightness Tonight

Mutual Longing Remains as Seasons Pass

A White Peony Bursts with Tears Counting Every Sorrow

Mist and Dense Clouds Frustratingly Prolong the Day
